DIXIE'S TUPPERWARE PARTY Launches 5th Season of National Tour, 8/9

Dixie's Tupperware Party, the hilarious Off-Broadway show starring Dixie Longate (2008 Drama Desk Nomination), will launch the fifth season of its national tour with a multi-city schedule beginning August 9th at the Charles R. Wood Theater in Glens Falls, NY.

Produced by Down South LLC and written by Kris Andersson, the show that brought Tupperware-mania to Off-Broadway and prompted NBC’s Today Show to proclaim “Not Your Grandmother's Tupperware Party!” has wowed critics and audiences across the country as well as London, Scotland, Canada, and Australia for the last four years and promises to do the same this season with repeat city engagements due to strong critical response and sold-out runs.

“Dixie’s Tupperware Party” stars Dixie Longate, as the fast-talking Tupperware Lady, who has packed up her catalogues and left her children in an Alabama trailer park to journey across America. Critics and audiences have howled with laughter as Dixie throws a good ol’ fashioned Tupperware Party filled with outrageously funny tales, heartfelt accounts, FREE giveaways, audience participation and the most fabulous assortment of Tupperware ever sold on a theater stage! Loaded with the most up-to-date products available for purchase, Miss Longate will share how she became the number one Tupperware seller in the world, as she educates her guests on the many alternative uses she has discovered for her plastic products.
