Playhouse on the Square Kicks Off Season With LEGALLY BLONDE, 8/17

Playhouse on the Square's 43rd Season kicks off with the regional premiere of Legally Blonde The Musical. Sorority star Elle Woods doesn't take "no" for an answer. So when her boyfriend dumps her for someone "serious," she packs her pooch and her stilettos and heads to Harvard Law to get him back. Along the way, Elle proves that being true to yourself never goes out of style. 

Legally Blonde The Musical is directed by Shorey Walker (Footloose) and features Amy Polumbo as "Elle" in her Playhouse on the Square debut. The cast includes Resident Company Members Carla McDonald (Xanadu) and Claire Kolheim (Avenue Q) with Claire Hayner (Present Laughter), Cassie Thompson (Footloose), and David Foster (Hairspray). Alexis Grace also makes her Playhouse debut.

Legally Blonde The Musical runs August 17 – September 9 at Playhouse on the Square, Thursdays – Saturdays at 8pm and Sundays at 2pm. The Pay-What-You-Can performance is Thursday, August 23.
