The only thing I remember seeing was that Ben Richards did the workshop as the Sargent.

I am quite interested in this so may book tickets, though I know nothing about the source material (I have not seen the film nor read the book). It's just great to finally look forward to something fairly original playing in the West End. There's a song from the show called "Fight the Fight" on Michael Ball's new album ("Both Sides Now"). It's nothing extraordinary but is still quite good.

I know people like Carley Stenson have been seen for this but as far as I know they didn't get any further.

I am eagerly looking forward to this more than any new show that's come to the West End for a long time. James Jones's novel is brilliant, the movie's a classic masterpiece and I think it is perfect material for a musical. I am a big fan of Tim Rice as a lyricist - don't know Stuart Brayson but always welcome new musical theatre composition.

Will be interested to learn more about casting but the show itself is enough of an attraction to me irrespective of who will be in it.

Of course, it may not live up to my expectations but I can't wait to see it!

Top price £69.50 (£10 off in previews) plus fees. Think this will need a hell of a cast to compete at those prices. I dont think Tim Rice is enough of name to get Joe Public through the door
